Heads up — beta build, not code-signed yet

Installation

1

Download the Windows installer

2

Run the installer and follow prompts

3

Launch SiftPics and start scanning

If Windows blocks the installer

SiftPics isn't code-signed yet (beta). Windows shows a few warnings to be safe — here's how to get past them in 10 seconds.

1

"Windows protected your PC" (blue/dark screen)

Click "More info", then click "Run anyway" at the bottom.

2

"Do you want to allow this app to make changes?" (UAC)

Publisher shows as Unknown during beta. Click Yes to install.

3

Your antivirus flags or quarantines it

Some AVs are aggressive with unsigned installers. Add an exception, or email support and we'll help.

Why is this happening? New apps need to build trust with Microsoft SmartScreen, which usually requires a code-signing certificate. We're rolling that out shortly. The app itself doesn't connect to anything except our licensing API — your photos never leave your machine.

System Requirements

Minimum

  • • Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 (4+ cores)
  • • 8 GB RAM
  • • 500 MB available disk space
  • • Windows 10 64-bit

Recommended

  • • Intel Core i7 / AMD Ryzen 7 (6+ cores)
  • • 16 GB RAM
  • • SSD storage
  • • Dedicated GPU (see below)

Performance

SiftPics uses AI to scan images. A dedicated GPU dramatically improves scanning speed.

With GPU

60-100+ images/sec

NVIDIA GTX 1060+ / AMD RX 580+ / Intel Arc

CPU Only

5-15 images/sec

Works but slower - fine for smaller libraries

Supported GPUs: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10xx+, RTX series, AMD Radeon RX 500+, Intel Arc

Note: Integrated graphics (Intel UHD/Iris) will use CPU mode for best results
